Raw Stores
The three silos are in place, and we are now waiting for the installation of our central feeding system so that we can transport the plastic raw material to our injection moulding equipment.
IMM Plants
Our Main Building’s IMM Plant 1 has grown in size. Our largest injection moulding equipment, weighing between 550 and 2400 tons, is housed there.
Toolroom
To secure the retention of proficient toolmaking abilities in South Africa, we will introduce an apprenticeship program in tooling.
Assembly
We moved our assembly line for the flow to be enhanced, and its capacity has grown by recruiting more personnel and operating round-the-clock.
Distribution
Our distribution center is moving to Laser Park to a considerably larger location that will allow for more stock-holding. We will soon have a 2400 square meter facility that was formerly 1300 square meters.
D & E
Our upgraded Design & Engineering department offers more specialized skills for your projects. Our team consists of industrial designers, product developers as well as design & production engineers.
Systems
To improve quality and efficiency while lowering waste for more efficient operations, we are implementing Epicor MES into our IMM Plants.
Quality
We are increasing our Quality Assurance department and laboratory facilities to ensure continuous quality improvement across our business. PIMMS is still ISO 9001:15 compliant.
